Dr Grace Bateman is an experienced oral historian with a PhD in History, and a former ice skating judge in all disciplines for the NZISA. She is the project leader for NZ Skating History, and will be conducting the oral history interviews.

Paul Garbett is an independent researcher and author. He will be transcribing the recorded interviews, digitising historical materials and handling the technical aspects of the study.
